Q: Where can I receive free Reiki healing?
A: There are many places, people and websites where you can request Reiki and it will be provided free of charge.
Locally, in many areas some people offer Reiki for free, or for a donation. There are some Reiki clinics in various locations in which this is the case, and also you may hear of someone via word of mouth that will offer free Reiki. People who offer Reiki for free don’t often advertise a lot about it.
By distance, you have many options. I highly recommend the Distance Healing Network (www.the-dhn.com). This is a network of Reiki practitioners around the world who volunteer to receive a case each week from someone who has requested healing via their website. For the week, that practitioner will send Reiki to that person specifically. Often, multiple practitioners will be assigned to the same case, increasing the energy and the number of times it will be sent during the week. I’m a Group Leader with the DHN, and have been with them for three years. I’m impressed with the integrity of the volunteers and the feedback that comes in reporting improvements in people’s conditions and well-being after receiving healing. Requests can be repeated weekly.
In addition, I recommend The Reiki Page (http://reiki.7gen.com/) as a place to request free distance healing. People who offer Reiki subscribe to the list of people who have requested healing that day, and they receive a daily digest of the requests in their email. They are not obligated to send healing, but enough people are subscribers to the list that chances are good that a number of people will respond to your request by sending Reiki your way.
Today, June 14, 2011, I will send a gift certificate for a full Distance Healing Session to anyone who helps me pay a random act of kindness forward. Any donation, any amount, for a good cause. Click here.
